| Abstract: | Under microwave irradiation carbazole reacts remarkably fast with a number of alkyl halides to give N-alkyl derivatives of carbazole. The reaction were carried out with high yield by simply mixing carbazole with an alkyl halide which was adsorb on potassium carbonate. |
