| Abstract: | Condensation of trimethylsilylcyclopentadiene with acetals, ketals, and some ortho esters in the presence of a catalytic amount of trimethylsilyltrifluoromethanesulfonate offers a new route to sensitive alkoxyalkyl substituted cyclopentadiene compounds. |
