| Abstract: | 8E,10E-Dodecadienyl-tri-n-butylamonium and -tri-n-butylphosphonium methanesulfonates were prepared and shown to be effective phase transfer catalysts. After reaction the catalysts can be removed quantitatively from the organic phase by addition of a silica gelimmobilized triazolinedione dienophile followed by filtration. |
