| Abstract: | Treatment of oximes and semicarbazones of saturated and α,β-unsaturated ketones and aldehydes with trimethylchlorosilane-dimethyl sulphoxide in dry acetonitrile affords the corresponding carbonyl compounds in excellent yields under mild conditions. |
