| Abstract: | Certain unsymmetrical N,N'-dialkylthioureas can be prepared in high yield by heating a sodium N-alkyldithiocarbamate, an alkylamine, and a catalytic amount of sodium hydroxide in a two-phase (aqueous-organic) solvent system. |
