| Abstract: | The reaction of an allylic selenide with an excess of an O-alkyl-N-chloro-N-sodiocarbamate in methanol affords an alkoxycarbonyl-protected allylic primary amine with allylic transposition. The preparation of several tert-butoxycarbonyl- and benzyloxycarbonyl-protected amines is described. |
