| Abstract: | A numerical experiment is carried out to demonstrate the reconstruction of the frequency spectrum of background internal waves
with the use of the correlation method for measuring the frequency shifts of interference maxima. The method is based on monitoring
the behavior of the frequency shift for the maximum of the cross-correlation function of signal spectra received at different
instants of time. The noise immunity of the correlation method is analyzed in comparison with the direct method based on monitoring
the frequency shift of a chosen maximum of the interference pattern. |
