Abstract: | Levoglucosan is a tracer for biomass burning sources in atmospheric aerosol particles. Therefore, much effort has been recently
put into developing methods for its quantification. This review describes and compares both established and emerging analytical
methods for levoglucosan quantification in ambient aerosol samples, with the special needs of the environmental analytical
chemist in mind. |
