Abstract: | Reaction of cyanamide (NCNH2) with trans-M(N2)2(dppe)2] (M = Mo or W, dppe = PH2PCH2CH2PPh2) leads to the formation of the bis(cyanoimido) complexes trans-M(NCN)2(dppe)2]. The crystal structure of trans-Mo(NCN)2(dppe)2] has been determined by an X-ray diffraction study. |
