Aspects of quality assurance in the determination of 2,4-toluene diisocyanate by HPLC

Summary In order to optimize accuracy in the determination of 2,4-toluene diisocyanate (TDI) the behaviour of a permeation tube was examined, a sampling device for isocyanates was tested and comparative measurements with different analytical methods were carried out. The investigations have shown that the sampling technique is suitable for collection of very low concentrations of isocyanates.Dedicated to Prof. Dr. E. Lahmann on the occasion of his 65th birthday
