Abstract: | A volume-dependent problem in use of the generalized standard addition method (GSAM) is evaluated. It is shown both mathematically and experimentally how to correct the deficiency. The revised GSAM was applied with direct current plasma spectroscopy in the presence of a salt and an acetone matrix effect. |
