| Abstract: | A numerical treatment for predicting the formation constants of actinide complexes from the properties of the metal ion and the ligand is presented. Comparison of predicted and averaged literature values of the formation constants shows excellent agreement, and the method will be most useful for modelling transport from radioactive waste repositories. |
