| Abstract: | Measurements of the kinetic isotope effects of heavy atoms are discussed from an analytical point of view. The discussion includes the choice of isotope, the procedure for measurement, and methods for increasing the kinetic isotope effect. The procedures most commonly used and newly developed techniques are presented and their advantages and disadvantages considered. |
