| Abstract: | Preparation of two new glycophanes is reported. These compounds arecomprised of two glucose molecules linked by hydrocarbon units at the 1,1 and 3, 3 or 3, 3 and 6, 6 positions. Thecrystal structure of one of the glycophanes is also described. |
