Cocycles and the structure of ergodic group actions |

| Abstract: | We show, for a large class of groups, the existence of cocycles taking values in these groups and which define ergodic skew products. We apply this to prove a generalization of Ambrose’s representation theorem for ergodic actions of these groups. |
