Abstract: | The nonlinear effects like the higher harmonics generation, the amplitude-dependent change of the wavelength, the change of the shape of the pulses, were predicted for the propagation of plane electromagnetic waves in vacuum in the presence of a constant magnetic field. To solve the set of the first order nonlinear partial differential equations, the method of the “simple waves”, invented for fluid dynamics, was used. |
