| Abstract: | In this work we prove the existence of a nontrivial solution for a transmission problem on \({\mathbb{R}^{2}}\) with critical exponential growth, that is, the nonlinearity behaves like exp(α0 s 2) as |s| → ∞, for some α0 > 0. |
