| Abstract: | In an aqueous alcohol solution of hydrogen chloride 1-(2-propionylphenyl)amino-2-alkoxy-2-methyl-3-indolinone undergoes rearrangement to 2-(2-acetylcarbonyl)phenyl-3-ethylindazole.
