13C-NMR spectra of cis-polymyrcene and cis-polyfarnesene

Homopolymers of myrcene and farnesene were prepared anionically in pure cyclohexane. The microstructure, determined from an analysis of the ¹³C-NMR spectrum and spin-lattice relaxation times, indicates the polymers are at least 85% cis-1,4, 10% cis-3,4, and under 3% trans-1,4.
