Modulated surface vibrational spectroscopy at the electrode—solution interface

Abstract:Infrared spectroelectrochemistry can be used to examine reactions occurring at the electrode—solution interface. This vibrational probe can be applied to study the structure and orientation of molecules and the dynamics of adsorption—desorption processes at the electrode surface. The technique can reveal valuable information about the mechanisms and kinetics of surface reactions.
