Transfer functions of nonuniform transmission photonic structures in polymer-dispersed liquid-crystal materials

Abstract:The transfer functions of nonuniform transmission photonic structures holographically formed in polymer-dispersed liquid-crystal materials are calculated. The diffraction properties of these structures are numerically calculated for different types of inhomogeneity, coupling parameters, and light beam divergences.
