| Abstract: | Various esters and amides were synthesized in one pot in moderate to excellent yields by the reaction of alcohols, phenols or amines with acyloxyphosphonium intermediate generated from diacetoxyiodobenzene and iodine in the presence of triphenylphosphine followed by treatment with triethylamine. |
