| Abstract: | An alternate method to standard computational tomography is suggested and investigated. In the proof of the fundamental theorem one makes use of an approach that is related to an idea of Yu. V. Linnik.The investigated alternate method has been communicated by me in 1978 to D. A. Novik, who introduced me to the pioneer works on computational tomography and drew my attention to this topic.
