Ultrasonic method of strengthening fluoroplastic 4D

Abstract:A method of strengthening fluoroplastic 4D (a modification of polytetrafluoroethylene) is proposed. It is shown that ultrasonic vibration in kerosene improves the strength of the material in air and extends its life in liquid media.Physicomechanical Institute, Academy of Sciences of the Ukrainian SSR, L'vov.
