Abstract: | In this paper, it is proved, using qualitative analysis and asymptotic methods for integrals, that forε → 0 the limiting solution of the singularly perturbed quasilinear BVP with turning points $$\varepsilon x'' + b(x)x' = 0; x(0) = x_0 , x(1) = x_1 ,$$ is an increasing piecewise constant function. An estimate of the times of each monotone transition layer is also given. |
