| Abstract: | A simple method for synthesizing substituted 4H-pyrrolo[1,2-a][1]benzazepines using acid-assisted cyclization of the Morita-Baylis-Hillman adducts of 2-(1H-pyrrol-1-yl)benzaldehydes with methyl acrylate or methyl vinyl ketone as a key step has been developed. |
