| Abstract: | Aimed at the characteristic of meteorological satellite cloudcharts in full size,a 2D-DPCM predictor along with a reflex-type entropy enceder which combines the Huffman coding with the run-length coding,has been utilizedto noiselessly encode this type of images at about a 3 to 1 compression ratio. |
