Abstract:Three crosslinking methods of the OV-210 stationary phase on fused silica capillary columns were studied and their chromatographic performances were evaluated. The optimal crosslinking condition and the possible mechanism were discussed. It showed that the separation efficiency and the thermal stability were good, and columns had only minor shift in polarity after the curing. It demonstrated that the columns crosslinked with dicumyl peroxide, ozone as initiators were better than those with azo tert-butane while the latter had higher column efficiency.
