| Abstract: | An interesting phenomenon of molecular-ion clusters of alkyl glucosides (AGS), bulyl glucosides, M2, and dodecyl glucoside, M3, in field desorption mass spectrometry has been investigated. The 14 complex clusters were found in total 42 peaks of AGS. The basic peak m/z 719 is [2M_2+Na]~+. Some clusters are composed with 3 or 4 ions, such as m/z 955 is [M_1+2M_2+Na]~+. The mechanism of clusters was discussed. |
