| Abstract: | A practical and efficient parallel method has been developed for the synthesis of 1,5-benzodiazepin-2-ones with a large variety of substituents at the 3-, 4-, 5-, 7-, and 8-positions using 1,5-difluoro-2,4-dinitrobenzene as the starting material. All the reactions involved here are highly effective in giving the desired products under mild conditions. |
