Abstract: | Abstract One-pot, three-components synthesis of 2,4,6-triarylpyridines and 5-unsubstituted-3,4-dihydropyrimidin-2(1H)-ones was performed under solvent-free conditions using molecular iodine as the catalyst in moderate to good product yields.
