Quadrupole moment and quadrupole relaxation of spin of muonium and mesoatoms |

| Abstract: | It is shown that muonium in the ground state has a quadrupole moment. Existence of the quadrupole moment of muonium leads to essential influence of crystal electric fields on the precession and relaxation of its spin in a medium. |
