Mobility of an electron in a Guassian random potential

The mobility of an electron in a Gaussian random potential is evaluated. It is shown that the relaxation time of the electron is found to be proportional to $\text{L}{}^2\text{|}\text{p}\text{|}$ for large and small correlation lengths L where |p| is the electron momentum.
