Induced representations of point groups and symmetry of localized orbitals

Complete representation tables are constructed for crystallographic symmetry point-group representations induced by local subgroups. We discuss the applicability of induced representations of point groups to the analysis of symmetry and to the construction of orbitals localized on atoms and bonds in a molecule.
