| Abstract: | Abstract A simple, rapid, precise and accurate method for the determination of mercury in biological material is described. Biological samples were digested with nitric acid and acidified potassium permanganate and determined by cold vapour analyser. The proposed method was successfully employed for the determination of mercury in samples of fish, hair and blood. |
