Study of N = Z nuclei in variation-after-projection framework

Abstract:Variation-after-projection (VAP) calculations in conjunction with the Hartree- Bogoliubov (HB) ansatz have been carried out for A = 68-88, N = Z nuclei. In this framework, the yrast spectra with $J^{pi} leqslant 10^{ + } $, B(E2) transition probabilities and deformation parameter ($beta_{2}$) have been obtained.
