| Abstract: | A noninjective bounded-to-one factor map from an irreducibleshift of finite type onto a sofic system can be factored asa composition of other such maps in only finitely many ways(up to isomorphism). This generalizes to factor maps from systemswith canonical coordinates to finitely presented dynamical systems. |
