| Abstract: | Spectroscopic evidence is presented for the formation of a carbinolamine interchain cross-link in 5'-CpG-3' sequences, arising from the acrolein adduct gamma-OH-PdG. This may be important in understanding biological processing of acrolein-induced DNA damage in CpG sequences. |
