| Abstract: | Some flexibility of the method of undetermined Largrange multiplier is studied in this paper. (1) The non-uniqueness of the expression of undetermined Lagrange multiplier. (2) The introduction of undetermined Lagrange multiplier in variational expression of original functional. (3) The derivation of generalized variational principles with preconditions by the use of the Lagrange multiplier method. (4) An exceptional cose arising, frem using the method of undetermined Lagrange multiplier. |
