| Abstract: | Without the use of any extra surfactant, template or other additive, shape-controlled synthesis of sphere-, urchin- and tube-like CuS nanocrystallites has been realized just via hydrothermal treatment of different amounts of CuSO4·5H2O and equimolar Na2S2O3·5H2O in water at 150 °C for 12 h. The possible mechanism for the formation of the various nanostructures of CuS in this system was discussed. |
