Abstract:The UV fluorescence spectrum is observed by equal-frequency two-photon excitation in the solution of Photo-active spiropyran molecule. The intensity of UV fluorescenceis found to be proportional to I1.73, where I is the incident laser intensity, and decays with theincrease of irradiation time. The results show that the two-photon induced nonlinear Photochemical conversion from spiropyran to merocyanine was partially performed.
