Abstract:Cathode materials LiCo 0.2Ni 0.8O 2, LiCo 0.5Ni 0.5O 2 and LiCo 0.8Ni 0.2O 2 were synthesized by heating mixtures of LiOH with corresponding precursors Co 0.2Ni 0.8 (OH) 2, Co 0.5Ni 0.5(OH) 2 and Co 0.8Ni 0.2 (OH) 2 obtained from the alloy Co 0.2Ni 0.8, Co 0.5Ni 0.5 and Co 0.8Ni 0.2 by electrolysis, respectively. The experiment results show that all the cathode materials have excellent electrochemical performance, especially those prepared in oxygen atmosphere have high charge-discharge capacity and good recycle property.
