| Abstract: | reaction: see text] (-)-N,N-Dimethylaminoisoborneol ((-)-DAIB) was found to be an excellent ligand for the enantioselective addition of Reformatsky reagents to aromatic and aliphatic aldehydes. Enantioselectivities up to 93% ee were obtained with sulfur-containing aldehydes. |
