摘    要:该文提出了一种基于坐标旋转数字计算机(CORDIC)算法实时产生高斯随机噪声的硬件实现方法。运用变换抽样法处理均匀分布随机序列,实时产生一对独立的高斯噪声序列,处理过程中用到的对数、开方、三角函数等超越代数计算利用CORDIC算法,构建运算功能单元在超大规模集成电路上实现。硬件仿真结果表明,这种方法生成的高斯噪声精度高,误差小,性能稳定,硬件速度可达到90MHz以上,适用于高速信号处理领域。

Abstract:A novel hardware implementation method of real-time generating Gaussian random noise based on CORDIC algorithm is proposed in this paper. The transform sampling method is used for processing uniformly distributed random sequences, and then a pair of independent Gaussian distributed sequences are generated in real-time. The computation of transcendental algebra used in processing, such as, logarithm, square root, and trigonometric function, is implemented on the very large-scale integrated circuit by constructing operation function cells based on CORDIC algorithm. The simulation results indicate that the Gaussian noise generated by the proposed method has the properties of high precision, small error and stable performance, and the speed can reach above 90 MHz. Therefore it can be widely applied in high-speed signal processing.
