Scattering of electromagnetic waves by drift modes |

| Abstract: | It is shown that high-frequency electromagnetic waves can parametrically excite the convection and ion drift waves in a slightly inhomogeneous magnetized plasma. The growth rates of the nonlinear decay instabilities are obtained analytically. |
