Axial anomaly and chiral symmetry breaking in Schwinger model: A canonical approach

Abstract:We use a recently introduced canonical surface formalism, to study the problem of chiral symmetry breaking in the Schwinger model. We perfect the parallel between QCD4 and QED2 in this respect.
