Mössbauer and ERS evidence of hemocromes in neoplastic pathologies

Summary Red blood cells collected from patients with leukaemia and breast cancer have been investigated with M?ssbauer spectroscopy. A component not usually present in red cells has been analysed. The M?ssbauer parameters, also supported by electron spin resonance measurements, suggest that they can be assigned to a hemocrome.
