Abstract: | The surface properties of an ideal relativistic charged Bose gas are calculated analytically in three dimensions. The surface specific heat is found to have a discontinuity at the bulk critical temperature in contrast with the logarithmic divergence found in the usual nonrelativistic case. Various special cases including that of a photon gas are discussed. |
