Lateral Contraction in Theories of Multilayered Shells and Plates

A method is proposed to exactly satisfy all the constitutive equations for a layer material under conditions of their contact and conditions on the outside surfaces. In the well-known continuum models of deformation of multilayered plates and shells, the relationship between the transverse normal stresses and strains is integral only.
