| Abstract: | Alkoxychlorofluorocyclopropanes are easily prepared by chlorofluorocarbene addition to en-ethers in a two-phase system and converted by simple heating in an aqueous solvent mixture to 2-fluoro-2-alkenals which can be reduced to the corresponding alcohols. |
